07/28/2005 SPRAGG, HOWARD WESLEY - The death of Howard Wesley Spragg, loving husband of Olive (Black) Spragg, of East Saint John, occurred peacefully on Tuesday July 26, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1932, in Saint John, he was the son of the late Charles and Ida (Morrell) Spragg. Howie was a Plumber/Pipe fitter with Local 213 for many years. He was a Volunteer with Romero House Soup Kitchen, and avid fisherman and hunter. He loved spending time with his granddaughters. Besides his loving wife Olive, he is survived by son Phillip (Angela) of Willow Grove; daughters Shelley Arthurs and Brenda Vienneau (Daren) both of Saint John; brothers Lawrence of Ontario, Hubert (Ida) of Fredericton, Gerry (Elaine) of Saint John, Donald of Saint John and Jimmy (Joan) of Saint John; five granddaughters Jessica, Jamie, Cortney, Stephanie and Shannon; foster child Abdula in Guyana; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by son Wayne, brother George and sister Rita. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (646-2424) with visitation on Friday 12-2 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place in Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Fernhill Cemetery.
