03/03/08 Dispatch

On March 4th, 2008 we will begin to put all calls for the Local Union On-line. The calls will be posted daily and if interested in any call, members should call the Union Hall at (506)(635-1605) the following morning of the Posting to put in for the call that they would like. Calls will still be available by telephone at (506) 635-4915 with the same call in time between 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

02/27/08 First Aid

Those of you that have registered, the First Aid course will begin Saturday, March 1st, at 8:30am.

There are still seats available for Safety, WHIMS, and First Aid at the training hall. Please call the hall to register.

There is a blog link on the top of this page. We can now communicate on our website to each other by posting messages. If you have never posted a message with us please set up a username and password in the blog section. Just click on "not a user?" on the right hand side of the screen under "Add a Post". Check it out.

02/19/08 Updating Webpage

Currently working on our Memorial page. It will have a lot of hard work and sweat put into it in the upcomming weeks. Check back periodically to see the progress being made.

02/13/08 Member Withdrawn

It has come to my attention that there was a member listed in our memorial page that is still lively and in good health. This has been corrected.

03/17/07 Still Away and Trying to Keep up!

The memorial page has been updated again. All the names listed have a small write up and can also be seen from the Brenans funeral home page and some have the web address at the bottom of the write up. Please thank Raoul Savoie for all the research he has done. At the top of this page you will see the link to the Memorial site.

03/05/07 Away and Trying to Keep up!

If anyone has any new news please e-mail me at ( nyersman77@hotmail.com ). I am currently working in Alberta working for a company named PCL. I am working 5 days a week at 10 hours a day. The memorial site is almost finished so please check it out periodically. There are many names being added and many more to come. Raoul Savoie is helping with the research end of the members. Together we will have many names and write ups.

There will be a meeting at the Union Hall Wednesday evening at 5:00pm for all officers and committee members.

01/10/07 Web Site Down

I must inform you that the website was down as Aliant was revamping there hosting capabilities. Our page was moved into a different site and the pages were not updating. For some reason we were not informed in the big switch over and many other companies and businesses had the same occurrence. Our page is up and running again, and we will be updating shortly

11/20/06 Banquet

Tickets will remain on sale for this up coming banquet at the Union Hall until Tuesday, November 21'st and will be held this Friday, November 24th at 6:30pm.

10/27/06 Vote

As you may all know, the voting took place last night on the hub agreement. The consensus of the vote was "No". Apparently there are still some changes that need to be made. For more information on the voting or the agreement, please call the Hall.

10/19/2006 Union Retiree Banquet

Tickets are now on sale for the Union Retiree Banquet

The price of the tickets are as follows:

$50 per couple and $25 per couple for retirees.

The banquet will be held at the Hilton Hotel and there are rooms for rent as well, The rooms are being rented for $109 for 2 double beds, $154 for the executive rooms which comes with a King size bed, breakfast for two, two drinks and also includes a small fridge inside the room.

The band that will be paying is "Thirsty Rangers". Anyone with information on the band is more than welcome to call the Union Hall with there opinion. They will be playing a vast majority of music from Willy to Britney.
