There is 1 call for Master's at the Refinery. They require 3 Pipefitters for day shift. They also require 8 Pipefitters and 9 Welders to test on F3/F4 & Chrome for night shift. Starting on September 21st 7:30am for Days and 7:30pm for nights. Duration is 8 Weeks plus and they are working 4x10's and switching to 13 and 1 You must have all safetly training up to date, be able to climb, work at heights, wear a half face respirator, be clean shaven and a D&A is required.

This is Local 213's Work Information for Friday September 4th

 It is with deep sadness we announce Local member Eddie Jack passed away on Wednesday September 2nd  He is resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row with visiting on Friday, September 4th from 2-4 and 6-8 A Celebration of Eddie's life will be held on Saturday, September 5th at 2:00pm from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel.

The Labour Day Parade will be held on Monday September 7th . The parade lineup starts at 11:00am by the Kind Street Fire Station. Parade starts at 12:00 noon around King Square, down King Street, up St. Patrick's and finish at Harbour Station. Please come out and show your support.

There will be a Confined Space course on Tuesday Sept. 8th at 5:00pm Please call the hall to register.

The 1st call is for Black & MacDonald in Havelock. They require 1 Apprentice Pipefitter Duration is 1 week and they are working 4x10's You must have all safety training up to date.

The 2nd call is for AQTS at various sites. They require 1 Welder to test on F3/F4 & F6 You must have all safety training up to date and a D&A is required.

The 3rd call is for Marque at the Refinery. They require 6 Instrument Fitters and 1 Apprentice Pipefitter. Starting on Tuesday September 8th at 7:30am. Duration is 2 months and they are working 4x10's You must have all safety training up to date, be able to pass a tube bending test and a D&A is required.

The 4th call is for Jacob's at the Refinery. They require 8 Pipefitters and 2 Apprentice Pipefitters for days. They also require 8 Pipefitters and 2 Apprentice Pipefitters for nights. Starting September 21th 7:30am for days and 7:30pm for nights. You must have all safety trainng up to date, be able to climb, be clean shaven and a D&A is required.

The first call is for E.S. Fox at Bayside Power. They require 5 Pipefitters & 5 Welders starting on September 3rd at 7:30am Duration is 7 plus days and they are working 10 hour shifts.You must have all safety training up to date. 4 Welders will test on F3/F4 and 1 Welder will test on Carbon Steel.

The second call is for Jacob's at the Refinery. They require 12 Pipefitters,  4 Apprentice Pipefitters and 9 Welders to test on F3/F4 for day shift .They also require 15 Pipefitters, 4 Apprentice Pipefitters, 8 Welders to test on F3/F4 and 1 Welder to test on F3/F4 & F6/F5 for Nights. Starting on September 16th at 7:30am for Days and 7:30pm for Nights. You must have all safety training up to date, be able to climb, be clean shaven and a D&A is reqired.Weld test will be on September 15th at the hall. Orientation will be on Wednesday September 16th at the Hilton 7:30am for days and 7:30pm for nights.

  There will be a bike run on Saturday August 22nd that leaves the hall parking lot at 10:00am.  It is going to Fredericton and returning thru Gagetown and Grandbay.  There is no registration fee for the run, but donations will be accepted and given to the Local 213 Dragon Boat Team.  If there is enough interest we will also have a poker hand for $10.00.  50% goes to the winner and 50% to the Dragon Boat Team.  This run is open to all union members, family and friends.

This is Local 213's Work Information for Monday August 10th

 There will be a meeting for all Apprentices on Wednesday August 12th 7:00pm at the Legion Branch 69 on Wilson Street West. All Apprentices must attend. 

There will be a bike run on Saturday August 22nd Leaves the hall parking lot at 10:00am It is going to Fredericton and returning thru Gagetown and Grand Bay. There is no registration fee for the run, but donations will be accepted and given to the Lcoal 213 Dragon Boat Team. If there is enough interest we will also have a poker hand for $10.00, 50% to winner and 50% to Dragon Boat Team. This run is open to all union members, family and friends.

Any members in need of Confined Space or Fall Protection, can contact the hall.

There are no calls at the hall today.

The first call is for Marque at Lake Utopia. They require 1Pipefitter Apprentice with tube bending experience, starting on Tuesday August 11th at 7:30am Duration is 2 weeks and they are working 5x8's You must have all safety training up to date, be able to climb and work at heights, must pass a tube bending test and a D&A is required.

The second call is for Master's at the Refinery. They require 1 Pipefitter and 2 Welders to test on F3/F4 starting on August 13th at 7:30am You must have all safety training up to date, be able to climb ladders and work at heights, wear a full face respirator, be clean shaven and a D& A is required.

The third call is for Jacob's at the Refinery. They require 2 pipefitters, 1 Apprentice Pipefitter and 2 Welders with F3/F4 and F6/F5 Starting on Monday August 17th at 7:30am Duration is unknown and they are working 4x10's with possible overtime. You must have all safetly training up to date, must be able to climb, be clean shaven and a D&A is required.

Any Local members interested in these call can contact the hall Monday morning between 8:30-10:00am

There is one call for Marque at IPP West. They require 1 Journeyman Instrument Fitter starting Wednesday August 12th at 7:30am. Duration is 2 months plus and they are working 5x8's You must have all safety training up to date and a D&A is required.

Any Local members interested in this call can contact the hall Friday morning between 8:30-10:00am
